AUDITIONS

For your self tape audition you will need to sing, dance and act, you will find the song choices in your Audition Pack. Please prepare ONE song of your choice, you can sing a Capella (without music) or with backing track (eg. karaoke tracks on youtube).

If you would like to show us any other talents or tricks such as playing a musical instrument, dance or acrobatics, please go ahead!

Tip 1: Always film landscape. Your camera should also ideally sit on a tripod to maintain a steady image. If you don't have a tripod, make sure you can put the camera on a stable surface. It is also a good technique to position your camera at eye level or slightly above. Or get a helpful person to film you.

Tip 2: Make sure you have sufficient lighting as we want to see you. Don't film in front of a window - this will create a silhouette

Tip 3: Make sure your head and shoulders are on camera for the song and acting scene to ensure the camera is close enough to see those facial expressions, and the full body should be seen you decide to include a dance.

Tip 4: Make sure we can hear you clearly.

Tip 5: Look just off camera rather than directly at it. Don’t look left or right, we want your face straight forward, but your eyes talking to a person as if they were just at the side of the camera.

The final step in this process is to submit your audition. Please make sure to save the video using your name so that we can see who is who.
